If you're going to San Francisco be sure to read our guide first! We've been to this city on the bay many times within the past year (it is our closest metropolitan city after all). From the famous bridge to the streets of downtown we've curated our top 10 to share with you!
What would a top 10 list be without the most obvious!? For that reason it's number 10 on the list (but you should definitely still go check it out). Take a walk or hop a bike to get to the center of this majestic jewel of the city!
Many a year ago I had the best experience visiting this historic walk through presented by The Tussaud's Group! Experience the dark side of San Francisco in this special effects masterpiece.
Visit and learn about the man, the myth, the legend himself... Walt Disney! Learn about his early boyhood life, his early career, and how he turned the name Disney into the colossal brand name it is today, recognized by millions the world over!
The rock out there in the middle of the bay. Visit Alcatraz and learn the story of one of the most iconic prisons in United States History (second of course in our opinion to Folsom)
Lions, and Tigers, and Bears... Oh My. Visit the San Francisco Zoo and see one of the most adorable city zoos. They're creating a new exhibit to showcase the primates that should be opening soon! Take a walk through the trees and explore!
This is a large area of land in San Francisco dedicated to recreation! Miles of walking space, tea gardens, museums, and Bingo's favorite... A brand new dog park! This place is a great lace to spend a day, or two, or three. Check out the art museum or the science museum! And if you've never seen a buffalo... they have them too!
4) Check out a 49ers game
My cousin would never forgive me if I didn't mention this one! Go checkout and root for the 49ers in true San Francisco fashion! Only in football season of course!
Eat and Drink like a king while visiting San Francisco in Fisherman's Wharf! Taste the world Famous Boudin Sourdough (and maybe get it filled with Clam Chowder) or visit the fresh fish stands for some delicious freshly caught crab!
2) Little Italy
Who doesn't love Italian food!? I don't think there's any place more authentic then this place (besides perhaps the real Italy... but this is much much closer). Take a stroll down and grab some gelato and a pizza pie!
1) Pier 39
Check out Pier 39 for some tasty food and fun activities! See the world famous San Francisco Bay Sea Lions as they rest on rafts by the pier! Eat some dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. or even visit some aquatic life in the aquarium!
